Honoring Him

Service does not need a platform to matter. It can look like painting a wall, cleaning a classroom, preparing a meal, donating what is needed, or offering the gifts God has already placed in your hands.
“Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:16
Community service
The Church Outside the Walls
This was not an event; it was faithfulness. Our church spent the day serving a local elementary school—painting, cleaning, moving furniture, and completing the small jobs that may go unnoticed but make a meaningful difference.
No platform, only servanthood. Loving a community is not only something we say. Sometimes it means rolling up our sleeves and doing the work in front of us.
Practical care
A Little Light in a Hard Place
This was not menial labor; it was devoted labor. We supported a ministry serving women affected by abuse by doing what needed to be done—washing dishes, preparing meals, and helping create an environment with a little more stability and care.
Not the center of attention. Not being noticed. Just being present—because sometimes love does not shout; it serves.
Annual community service
Mobilize Movement
Each year, our church joins neighbors from across the community to serve one of our local schools. Together, volunteers clean classrooms and hallways, refresh walls with paint, repair and rebuild outdoor spaces, move equipment, and take on the practical work that helps the school feel ready for students and staff.
Mobilize Movement is faith with work gloves on—many people bringing their time, skills, and willing hands to one shared mission: loving our neighbors and leaving a place better than we found it.
Women encouraging women
Our First Unity Women’s Conference
Our church stepped into something beautifully new with its first Unity Women’s Conference—a day for women to gather, grow closer to God, and encourage one another. Through worship, prayer, teaching, conversation, and fellowship, the room became a place where women could be honest, feel seen, and remember that our deepest unity is found in the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Speakers including Melody Wolfe and Brooke Hamlin shared personal testimonies and biblical encouragement, reminding us that God can use every season of a woman’s story. This was more than a single event; it was the beginning of a community committed to loving well, lifting one another up, and walking forward together in faith.
